Bob and Peter Farrelly, also known as the Farrelly Brothers(Dumb and Dumber, There’s Something About Mary, Shallow Hal), are looking into another Dumb and Dumber movie. This time a sequel to the the original. I don’t believe it’s worthwhile to go into any detail on the horrific attempt at a prequel titled Dumb and Dumberer. Bob Farrelly has obviously put some brainstorming into the project:
[Dumb and Dumber] has run a bunch of times on TV in the states, and kids will come up and they’ll be able to quote lines from that – lines that I’ve long forgotten. If we could get those two guys back together, Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels that might be a worthwhile sequel – and that ball is in motion. We’re starting to think about what those two dimwits would be doing twenty-years later in life, and hopefully we’ll be able to come up with something worthy of a sequel.
The key to this idea is a “worthy” sequel and whether it will live up to very high expectiations, especially if the original cast decided to sign on. But this is all based on accusations and nothing may very well come of it.
